Lauren Alaina sets tour in support of upcoming new album ‘Stages’

Lauren Alaina has revealed plans for an extensive headlining tour that will kick off this fall, in support of her highly anticipated upcoming album, Stages.

Before embarking on her solo fall run, the country vocalist will spend her spring and summer performing at a variety of major music festivals (including Rock The Country and The Back Road Music Festival), as well as serving as an opening act on select dates for Darius Rucker’s Songs of Summer Tour.  Alaina’s standalone headlining trek will officially commence on October 1 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and will travel across numerous cities, ultimately wrapping up in Nashville, Tennessee, on November 12.   For ticket info, head HERE.

As previously announced, Alaina is set to release her fourth studio album, Stages, on Aug. 28. The project follows her previous albums Wildflower, Road Less Traveled, and Sitting Pretty on Top of the World.

Produced by Joey Moi and Ben Johnson, the album explores pivotal chapters of Alaina’s life, including growing up, performing at a young age, family milestones, and personal growth. Reflecting on the new record, Alaina said, “I’m fifteen years into a ten-year town and 31 years into a lifelong dream. Stages represents every version of me along the way: the dreaming, the breaking, and, ultimately, the becoming. There’s something on this album for everyone, no matter what stage of life they’re in. Stages is letting everyone see behind the curtain of the girl in the spotlight. It’s a reflection of the moments that shaped me and the dream that carried me through. It’s always been the same dream, different stages.”

The collection includes her current radio hit All My Exes featuring Chase Matthew, along with the single Raining Whiskey. Other recent tracks from the Georgia-born artist include Those Kind Of Women, Household, Heaven Sent, and Little Things, and the recently released Better Off, written by Alaina alongside Joe Fox, Matt Jenkins and Josh Miller. She shares of her latest track: “I wrote “Better Off” from the perspective of a girl who finally realizes she didn’t lose anything by being cheated on…in a lot of ways, she ended up much better off. It’s full of sass and attitude, but underneath it all, it’s really about growth and knowing your worth. I’m in such a beautiful season of life now with my husband and daughter, and this song feels like finally closing the door on a different stage of my life.”
